Cons:
-Three bathrooms with shower stalls (one has a bathtub) means a large group can get through the showers quickly.
-Parking area can hold many more than 5 vehicles. I am not sure why they have published that restriction.
Had great time! Perfect for our girls weekend! Clean and beautifully decorated. Plenty if room for everyone.
Pros:
The property is nice, but feels very thrown together, and a tad run down. I'm sure this is a much nicer place to stay during the ski season (with the large fireplace, and baseboard heaters which are everywhere.
-The wooded setting is nice, and very private (you definitely don't feel like you're at a crowded hotel.)
-Sliding screen door was marked as "do not use this side" in a faded yellow sticky note, meaning it'd been like that for some time.
-The living room is large, and can accommodate a large group.
-Pool table fabric is coming off and needs repair.
-Large TVs all over the house and Dish Network units make unwinding in the evening very relaxing.
-Provided internet is ample, but for a relative that was telecommuting for one day, cut out quite a bit. Check your email but don't expect internet miracles.
-Beds and linens were very nice and comfortable.
It's ok wish there where more open spaces.
-Almost every single electrical outlet in the cabin is so loose a standard phone charger will likely just fall out due to the weight. I had to masking tape mine up to keep it from falling out. There was an instance where the hot blade of a plug and the ground made contact, but not the return. This is very dangerous and did not crop up overnight. The owner/manager needs to address this.
-Fans are provided, but when you're cooking, all that's going to do is blow around hot air.
-Hot tub is anemic (at best) and very dated. My grandmother could do better blowing through a hose into the water.
-Upstairs main area has a creepy nook with a single couch hidden in the back.
-The kitchen is very large, and is well stocked with plates, silverware, cups.
-Downstairs area behind the fireplace has another oddly placed corner desk.
-Two refrigerator/freezer units (one in the laundry room) are provided, which is helpful.
Large and beautiful. Has everything a large group needs, plus some. Spacious rooms, and comfy beds. Very clean. A must for a family or friends get away.
-We stayed in the summer. Many windows are missing screens and there is no air conditioning. Cooling instructions were a hand written sticky note on the fridge to "close windows and drapes to stay cool" good luck -- LOL.
Large beautiful home, has TONS of spaces to sleep more then what is listed, game rooms, clean and homey feel, but the only draw back is no AC, but was such a great value to be able to use for my wedding party !
This was a very nice house, but it being a rental definitely shows.
-Almost every single storage space is locked and marked as "owner closet." Having to leave dry groceries on the counter is unsightly, and gets in the way.
