Dust bowl!!!!! The store has nothing in it. The pool was loaded with kids, warm and murky with sunscreen. 120 dollars for 2 nights. PAVE. I'd stay at a state park over this place any day.
We had an amazing trip to this camp ground. The staff was super friendly and the Manager helped us out with a cabin and was amazing. Pool wasn't open yet but they had enough activities for the kids to stay busy.. Thank you for making our weekend
Scenery
Nice location, kinda remote, but I like that. Not enough sites with sewer. Also very dusty!! They need to mitigate the dust problem somehow. Especially when you have dozens of RVs going back and forth to the dump station.

The campground is beautiful! It's woodsy and quiet. People actually drive 5 mph which is super important on the gravel roads. We only saw one person getting satellite reception so antenna is your option. Our AT&T cellular service works good and with unlimited data we stream a little NetFlix just fine. The pool is a great size but there are no umbrellas to create shade. The closest trees start shading one end of the pool deck about 2. The electric is a little sketchy. We really need 50 amp but there are only four full hookup with 50. We ended up in the only pull through site in the park and full hookup 30 amp. We had lots of trouble blowing the breaker on the first day but managed well after. The park is open great round so for those who enjoy the winter wonderland it's a great option. It takes about a half hour to get into Leavenworth, a cute Bavarian town!

Thousand Trails is selling off too much of their property to year round buyers, and tying up to much of the rest with tiny house rentals.
